Tourism Industry Of India

 Tourism is my most favourite subject. I love travelling much. I have visited some countries of the world. Among the countries India is my most favourite. It has diverse culture & tradition. The topography of India is amazing. Indian tourism brings together leading experts from all over the world to assess the challenges and opportunities of the tourism sector in India and it's correlation to the countries economic performance & prospects. There are many tourist places in India including historic sites, religious sites, beaches, and hill stations. We know India has a seven wonders heritage. Yes I am talking about Taj Mahal. The The Taj Mahal in Agra, being one of the seven wonders of the world is the most famous place in India & also one of the most visited  tourist destinations. Diverse cuisine, vibrant festivals and some spiritual destinations have developed the Indian tourism industry, Recently there is going Kumbh Mela in India. It is a biggest festival in India. People from all over the world participate in this festival. The country's natural landscapes, from the himalayas to Kerala's backwaters & bustling cities like Delhi & Mumbai also attract numerous tourist. Beside I can say some famous diverse tourist spots of India. They are valley of flowers, Uttarakhand, Rann Of Kutch Gujarat, Hampi Karnataka, Mandu, Madhya Pradesh, The back waters of  Kumarakom Kerala, Mawlynnong, Meghalaya, Madikeri Coorg Karnataka & Chilka Lake Oddisha. So India is fully enriched in tourism. But there some important can develop the tourism industry.

1. Have to implementing plans to care for specially abled tourist 

2.Providing proper guidance to the domestic and international tourists regarding the proper social behaviour expected from them during their stay.

3.Arranging safe transport and general security.

4. Reducing pollution, cutting waste and supporting conservation are crucial needs for proper tourism.


These efforts protect the future of travel and it's most valuable natural resources. We have to ensure responsible travel for future generations. Because tourism is not only explore but also a personal well being.

Exploring in Rurka Kalan Village

 30th September was our 2nd field visit B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 2nd year & 1st year also M.A 1st year students. On that day we first reported in our department building. The faculty members had gave all the instructions of what we have to in the field visit. Our department arranged the university bus for our transportation. Three of our faculty members joined us with us in the field visit. There was a great fun in the bus while we were going to Rurka Kalan Village. The time duration from LPU to Rurka Kalan village is 33 minutes. Rurka Kalan is the very nice village in Punjab state.  Rurka Kalan  is a village in the  Tehsil   Phillaur ,  Jalandhar ,  Punjab , India.  Khurd and Kalan  Persian language word which means small and Big respectively when two villages have same name then it is distinguished as  Kalan  means Big and  Khurd  means Small with Village Name. Harike Pattan Visit

 Harike Pattan Visit Last 2nd February 2024 we had a study tour to Harike Pattan wetland Punjab. Harike Wetland also known as "Hari-ke-Pattan. Harike Pattan lake jointly downstream from the confluence of the Beas & Sutlej rivers. Harike barrage was construct to meet the irrigation and drinking needs of southern parts of Punjab and adjoining state of Rajasthan. It's nearest place is Amritsar. It is 60km far from Amritsar. Wetland is very essential thing for a country. It balance hydrological and ecological equity. Harike Pattan mainly situated in Taran Taran district and Ferozepur district Punjab India. It is a largest manmade wetland in northern India. Although it is India's second largest wetland but now it is famous for it's diversity. It's depth is 2 meters and surface area is 4,1000 hectares.
