 Interview With Phagwara Traffic Police

12th April 2024 we the students of  B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 1st & 2nd year students visited to Phagwara Traffic Police Station. One of our faculty member had also joined with us. We started to Phagwara at 11.00am in front LPU main gate by autorickshaw. Phagwara is the busy a city of Punjab. On the working days the city is totally jam packed. Traffic jam hampered the common people's life of Phagwara. The traffic police works very hard to maintain the good traffic condition of Phagwara. We the journalism and mass communication took the interview of two police officers. The police officers co-operate us with totally decent behaviour They described us about the traffic condition of Phagwara. How they have to maintain the rules and regulations of traffic. The Phagwara Traffic Police have to work whole day and night for the traffic security of Phagwara. Without expert traffic police the development of traffic will not possible at all. In Phagwara the street market is one of the rush area. The traffic condition of that area is totally congested. People don't maintain traffic rules properly. But nowadays police has managed the traffic management of that area very easily.  On that day we learned about the update of traffic condition of Phagwara city. That field will be totally useful for us.

Exploring in Rurka Kalan Village

 30th September was our 2nd field visit B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 2nd year & 1st year also M.A 1st year students. On that day we first reported in our department building. The faculty members had gave all the instructions of what we have to in the field visit. Our department arranged the university bus for our transportation. Three of our faculty members joined us with us in the field visit. There was a great fun in the bus while we were going to Rurka Kalan Village. The time duration from LPU to Rurka Kalan village is 33 minutes. Rurka Kalan is the very nice village in Punjab state.  Rurka Kalan  is a village in the  Tehsil   Phillaur ,  Jalandhar ,  Punjab , India.  Khurd and Kalan  Persian language word which means small and Big respectively when two villages have same name then it is distinguished as  Kalan  means Big and  Khurd  means Small with Village Name.  Harike Pattan Visit Last 2nd February 2024 we had a study tour to Harike Pattan wetland Punjab. Harike Wetland also known as "Hari-ke-Pattan. Harike Pattan lake jointly downstream from the confluence of the Beas & Sutlej rivers. Harike barrage was construct to meet the irrigation and drinking needs of southern parts of Punjab and adjoining state of Rajasthan. It's nearest place is Amritsar. It is 60km far from Amritsar. Wetland is very essential thing for a country. It balance hydrological and ecological equity. Harike Pattan mainly situated in Taran Taran district and Ferozepur district Punjab India. It is a largest manmade wetland in northern India. Although it is India's second largest wetland but now it is famous for it's diversity. It's depth is 2 meters and surface area is 4,1000 hectares.
