Exploring in Rurka Kalan Village

 30th September was our 2nd field visit B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 2nd year & 1st year also M.A 1st year students. On that day we first reported in our department building. The faculty members had gave all the instructions of what we have to in the field visit. Our department arranged the university bus for our transportation. Three of our faculty members joined us with us in the field visit. There was a great fun in the bus while we were going to Rurka Kalan Village. The time duration from LPU to Rurka Kalan village is 33 minutes. Rurka Kalan is the very nice village in Punjab state.  Rurka Kalan  is a village in the  Tehsil   Phillaur ,  Jalandhar ,  Punjab , India.  Khurd and Kalan  Persian language word which means small and Big respectively when two villages have same name then it is distinguished as  Kalan  means Big and  Khurd  means Small with Village Name. Tour of Jag Bani Tv Channel

 In the 2nd year of B.A Journalism & Mass Communication our first field visit was in Jag Bani TV channel. That was on 23rd August 2024. That field visit was related to our subject tv reporting & anchoring subject. We the 9 students of B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 2nd year and one of our respected faculty member visited to the field visit. We started for Jag Bani TV Channel at 11:30am. First we reported in our department building. On that day most of the students had no money for transportation. So our respected faculty members helped us with money for transportation. Our faculty member Nadim Sir had taken a great care of all of us. On that day we first moved to Jalandhar bus stand from there we moved to Jag Bani TV channel by autorickshaw. Jag Bani TV channel is a Punjabi It covers all local Punjabi news, national, political and more. Jag Bani has also a daily newspaper.
