Bharat Bandh

 Bharat Bandh It was 16th February Friday our department had planned to visit Phagwara Civil Hospital and police station of Phagwara. But when we knew that that day was going strike than we have change our plan. Somebody was unknown about it. But after some moment we knew about this. It was Bharat Bandh workers and farmers have called sectoral industrial strike and Grameen Bharat Bandh on 16 February, with protests taking place from 6AM to 4PM. The farmers body Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non Political) has urged all like minded farmer organizations to unite and took part in the February 16 Bharat Bandh. Farmers gathered on main roads and they all blocked all roads. Most of the national highway was closed that day. During that time some emergency services and students also faced problem.  G.N.M.N.B Ashram On 8th March we had our 7th field visit. In that day we visited G.N.M.N.B Ashram. 8th March was also the festival of Hindu religion's Maha Shivratri and International Women's Day. We the B.A Journalism & Mass Communication 1st year students had visited two places G.N.M.N.B Ashram and hanuman temple. Hanuman temple is also a holy place. Exciting Moment in Chiheru Village

 Exciting Moment in Chiheru Village Today was the fifth field visit of our department of journalism & mass communication. This time we visited Chiheru Village. There was little bit rain today. So I took an umbrella with me. Our all class students and some B.A 2nd and 3rd year, and M.A 1st year students have joined in the field visit. We started for Chiheru village at 11.00am from LPU. All of us have gone there through walking. There was lots of enjoyment and fun on the way to Chiheru village. We had to cross the rail line for entering in the Chiheru village. I have  made a lots of video on the way to Chiheru village. after entering in the Chiheru village we enjoyed the beautiful mas tard field and crop fields. In the Chiheru village we first visited in a Sikh family house. We took interview from a sikh man. Then we visited in a nice primary school.
